Hobby is free and stays free. It is a real tier, not a trial that expires.

How usage is counted

Rows generated, not rows requested. If a generation is rejected before it runs, nothing is counted.

Usage in the sidebar shows the current period, a per-project breakdown and history. Checking it before a large push is worthwhile if you are near a limit.

At a limit

The request is refused before generation starts, with your tier and the cap in the message. Nothing partial is written and nothing is counted.

If you have bonus rows, those are drawn down first.

Rate limits

Separately from monthly rows, there is a cap on how fast requests can arrive, scaled by plan. It exists so one runaway script cannot degrade the service for everybody, and normal use will not reach it.

If you do, the response says how long to wait. This is the only limit you can hit without doing anything wrong, and it clears on its own within a minute.

Upgrading

Settings → Billing. Paid tiers are unlocked through Buy Me a Coffee.

Two things worth knowing. Card details go to Buy Me a Coffee, never to SeedQL, so we hold no payment instrument. And unlocking is matched on your email, so use the same address on both sides. If it does not unlock within a few minutes, get in touch and it gets sorted manually.

Cancelling

Cancel on Buy Me a Coffee. Access continues to the end of the paid period, then drops to Hobby.

Your data is not deleted on downgrade. Projects, snapshots and history stay. What changes is what you can do next: lower row caps, and scheduled snapshots stop firing while keeping their configuration, so upgrading later resumes them.
